Three-Year Rotation

As we take an in-depth look at the notion of vocation, we look to our partner program, Notre Dame Vision, to guide our exploration. Notre Dame Vision offers young people a comprehensive experience of vocation over the course of five days. Notre Dame Vision CYM works within the same comprehensive framework, but addresses two major themes more closely each year. While each year’s experience can certainly stand alone, Notre Dame Vision CYM is experienced most fully over the course of three years. Our three-year thematic rotation is as follows:

2012: Discerning God’s Call and Responding in Faith

2013: The Call to Discipleship and Conversion

2014: The Call to Relationship and Communion

Weekly Structure

The course of each week includes keynote presentations, discussion groups, and experiences of prayer and reflection. You can expect a challenging, engaging, and in-depth exploration of vocation tailored for an adult learning community of campus and youth ministers. You can expect to discuss ideas, and share your faith with others who minister to young people. You can expect plenty of time for guided reflection, prayer, and recreation as you recharge on Notre Dame’s campus. And you can expect to share the best of Notre Dame Vision with the young people you serve!

What I liked most about Notre Dame Vision CYM was the validation of our efforts in ministry in addition to the acknowledgment of our needs. I was enlightened, empowered, and challenged.
